Out of three other ones that broke, this one has lasted very well. I saw the bad review, so I had to comment. My son bought this for me a year and a half ago for my birthday. I use it a lot! It has held up perfectly. I have not had to replace the “worm” with the extra one that was included. It says not to use it on rubber corks, but I have, and it has been ok. I do store it in the box,not in my kitchen drawer.

First, it is a real great product, easy to use for I have a real hard time opening things. This was easy as 1-2-3.
**BUT**
I am very upset as to how it arrived. I purchased as NEW and the box was broken and the contents inside were banged up and scratched. It certainly was not new and was passed on as such. That does not make me happy since i paid what i think is alot for a ‘new’ product and I was expecting a ‘NEW’ product.
I have been a long term customer of amazon, and i am very surprised this went through this way. I will keep it, because i had a hard time finding one to begin with…but it is now documented as such.
